About the Director

Pam Geffken has a proven record of success in cultivating and enthusiastically producing opportunities for children and adults to realize their creative talent. She has a natural rapport with people, and this bond serves to invigorate and excite students! Sharing her own love of the arts with people of all ages, Pam is always looking for ways in which to help others enrich their own lives through creative experiences and rewarding artistic accomplishments. Having participated in private art, music and theatre instruction from the age of eight, she remembers vividly how enjoyable the classes were and is able to bring that understanding to this endeavor.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Pam received her education at Katherine Gibbs Business School and the State University of New York. In the last twenty-five years, Pam has enjoyed a career in the arts.

Pam and John have been married since 1981. The family moved to Charlottesville from Bath, Maine, in the summer of 2002 when John accepted a position with Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine. They love central Virginia and have just built a home in Ruckersville where they plan to reside well into retirement years! The couple has three sons, Matthew, Daniel and Andrew.
